6th March 2017: Members of the APPG on PDRH Committee had a briefing meeting with Janet Benshoof, President, Global Justice Center and her colleagues on the ‘Global Gag Rule’ and women raped in war zones.

1st February: Members of the APPG on PDRH Committee received a briefing from Holly Lynch MP and Karl Turner MP on their EPF study tour to Guatemala and El-Salvador.

28th November: Members of the APPG on PDRH Committee had a briefing meeting with Concern Worldwide on reproductive, maternal, child and adolescent health and nutrition policy.
18th November: Baroness Jenny Tonge received an Honorary Fellowship from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) for her services to women’s health in the UK and overseas.

4th July: Committee member John Mann MP briefed the APPG on PDRH Committee on his EPF study tour to Senegal, August 2015 and Ouagadougou Partnership Annual Meeting in Benin, December 2015.

25th May: Baroness Jenny Tonge introduced a Private Member’s Bill in the House of Lords to raise the minimum age of consent to marriage or civil partnership to 18.
